We celebrated Jameson's birthday today with five of his best friends from school.
As usual, it was easy to get lost in the details. Are the juice boxes chilled? What are we taking to the pool? How do we make sure not to lose any of the kids at the pool? Where are the towels? Are the cupcakes frosted? What are we feeding them? When do we order the pizza? Did anyone remember to clean the bathroom?
But when all was said and done, it was these last two pictures that are burnt into my mind. When all present came together, sang the silly song, and honored this sweet boy we all cherish. His smiles and his unique expressions made my day, and reminded me why we make the grand effort to celebrate each milestone.
