Above are two shots from the weekend. My favorite moments were the early quiet hours of Saturday, when the sun was streaming in the back of the house and Jameson settled in to playing legos. Then, today, for a short period of time both boys were with me as I worked to sift and sort accumulated possessions in my old office. (we are in the process of converting it to a bedroom for Alex) Both were absorbed in looking through their old school work and art work, and while the mess grew more than I would have liked in that hour, their delight in their work was invigorating to watch.
Jameson finished up his dinner early and then pulled out some blueberry ink he and Stefan had made earlier in the day. We all cringed as the rough feather scraped the paper---think of the famous nails on a chalkboard---causing us to finish our dinner quickly rather than stop him in his endeavor.
All in all, lots of moments worth remembering.
And now, on to that backlog...
