A few weeks back, Alex had a pretty remarkable week. In the space of seven days, he...
--Completed in three events in the Ann Arbor Science Olympiad program.
--Completed his final Cub Scout requirement (called the Arrow of Light) and was honored with his Den in their final "cross-over" event.
--Took the "Pacer Test" at school. I'm not completely clear on what exactly a "Pacer Test" is, except that it has to do with a lot of running. He felt quite accomplished when he came home, annoynced something about 70 laps, and we congratulated him.
--He took and aced a particularly challenging math test.
--He did a presentation in front of a community group as part of a program where he and other students in his class applied for a Mini-Grant and then gave blankets and toys to Mott Hospital.
We were all pretty proud of him and his accomplishments... still to come... concerts and soccer games and (dare I say it) fifth grade graduation.
