Growing pains

This parenting thing isn't always Puerto Rican vacations and whirlwind trips to New York.  Sometimes it is the gritty, horrendous, watching-your-child-go-growing-pains sort of thing.

That's what this week has been about.  I'm thankful I'm here every night to help him through this, and even more grateful--now--for our little get-away last weekend.
