Fallish weather

The weather has been a little crisp in the morning and there are crunchy autumn leaves on the sidewalk during our walks. Honeycrisp apples appeared at our favorite local store, and local peaches are disappearing. Fall is coming now... all the signs are there. Michigan fall is something to be savored, because months and months of cold follow.

It makes me think of hot tea and baked goods with apples. Or beautiful fall colors along the Huron River as we make our way to the Dexter Cider Mill.

Perhaps the kids will remember these things when they grow up, and associate them with fall and family time together. For now, though, Jameson just thinks of one thing: that he has to put his coat on before he can go throw rocks.

Here are a few pictures of Jameson during an outing to Ypsilanti yesterday. Jameson was very pleased to visit the "Roro".
