Lost Ocracoke

OK... so this is a bit late, but I just found all the great pictures from our amazing week at Ocracoke. So... although it was over a month ago, here are some of my favorites! I know there's a lot of them. It was too hard to choose only a few.

Sunset from the bay/inlet close to our cottage:

A stop at the "slushie stand" (where you can also get ice cream... or in Jameson's case, Daddy's cone):
Our dinner out at the "Back Porch," the fanciest restuarant. Refer to my blog entry about Jameson's intake that night.
Stefan and Jameson out walking: (self-portrait)

The chintzy "Teach's Hole" gift shop, where Alex got his pirate gear:

Biking! This is how we spent much of our time there. We only took these three pictures while actually ON our bikes. But my best memories of the trip are biking around the island to go to the coffee shop or to run our errands.

Beach pictures! We didn't actually spend a TON of time at the beach (after all, we had to drive there and it was more fun just to bike around the island) but the beaches were so beautiful:

Our last stop at my favorite beach on the way to the ferry. We were the only ones out there and it was so beautiful.
Alex was in a strangely bad mood (just wanted to sit in the car!) so I was trying to cheer him up.My three boys!
On the ferry ride!Salute!
