I've been writing so much about trips and big events, that I haven't taken the time to document the day-to-day life of summer, boy style. We're really enjoying dinners on our back porch, as well as the occasional cherry-pit-spitting contest. (Jameson misunderstood it as a
cherry-
spitting contest and spit half-chewed cherries around the porch, which made Alex laugh and laugh)
And many summer evenings are spent answering the call, "Mama, watch this" or "Mama, WASS ISSS" as boys perform stunt after stunt after stunt. And, of course, it is absolutely imperative that a parent watch every single one of them.
The days may be long in the summer, but somehow they fly by in a flash.
Just like Alex the Jedi.
