First, Jameson decided that Baby Daniel (his cousin) must be read to during his bottle. It only makes good sense to him---after all, he always gets read to during his pre-nap bottles. It's just too bad that Jameson isn't close enough for him to actually see the book. And Grandma seems to be a little more interesting, anyway. It's the thought that counts, right Jameson?
On Saturday afternoon, when the house was suddenly too small for the three older boys, who were running around and generally causing havoc, we bundled up and went to the local playground. Some of us bundled more than others... can you tell who the native Michigander is?
No particular story behind this one, other than Alex is looking quite cute. (except that I'm not supposed to call him cute anymore... is he getting that big already?)
Two industrious boys--Alex and Benjamin--spent a great deal of time loading up mulch onto this little rubber bridge and then jumping on it as it flew off. This took a LONG TIME to get old.
There was one small shift during this visit with the Baker cousins... usually Benjamin, age 5, tags around after Alex. And Jameson is left to his own devices---or he spends his time with his grandparents. For a short period of time, Jameson and Benjamin played together while Alex did his own thing. I think they both enjoyed it... Jameson gave Benjamin plenty of hero worship, which probably felt nice to Benjamin (since he's usually the one worshipping Alex). It was fun to watch a little friendship start between these two boys... I look forward to our vacation with them this summer to see how it develops.
