Sadness

Our "Pop," Stefan's grandfather, the boys' great-grandfather, passed away this week.

I feel so fortunate to have known him, and that the boys will have memories of their great-grandfather.



We're in the midst of viewings and the funeral and all the events surrounding the death of a loved one.

I've got all my own stories of Pop, like first hair-cuts and meals spent together. But there are so many stories about the amazing influence of "Johnny the Barber," on his customers and friends in the little town of Flushing, Michigan.

I'll write more soon, but for now, here's a nice article about Pop.
