Finding Fairies

Recipe for a good day:

Start with beautiful weather and a great excuse to get outside in Ann Arbor (the annual Fairy Walk).







Ensure you have at least two cute, color-coordinated brothers.


Prepare at least 3 parts snacks for each boy. Even more if the recipe calls for "whine".

Mix in a little fairy dust.

Add one huge serving of ice cream. Preferably before lunch.

Mix in two parts patience for each boy in the recipe. Even more for their mother.


Don't rush the recipe. Take numerous breaks to ensure adequate exposure to sunshine.

Mix well.

Serve warm.
