Soccer, revisited

I'm really not sure who was more excited... Jameson, for more than an hour of uninterrupted time at the playground, or Alex, to practice soccer with a group of his buddies, or me, to have some adult contact with other parents of kindergartners... but regardless, soccer season has started again!

I'm not sure Stefan was as thrilled, since Jameson decided that he was the one who needed to watch him on the playground, much to my relief. (the meds have kicked in, and he's no longer the "crazy-maniac-screaming-cling-to-Mama-baby" that he was over the weekend)

The beginning of practice was interesting, with all sorts of little boys running around, playing, and confusing poor Jameson. For they all had shirts on like Alex, and half of them were blond. Jameson started chasing various boys calling "ASSAAAA!!! ASSSSAAAAAA!!!" much to their confusion.

Once practice started, and Jameson was restrained from following Alex onto the field, he consoled himself quite successfully on the playground. Who needs a brother to play with when Daddy is there, and there's a SLIDE. A few goldfish crackers didn't hurt, either.
