Summer is REALLY here

Temperatures in the 80's, lots of yardwork, sprinklers to keep the boys cool... it REALLY feels like summer now!

Here are a few pictures from Thursday afternoon, after which we had chicken with BBQ sauce and corn on the cob. Does it get more summer than that?

(Notice the socks... he cannot possibly wear his crocs without socks... that just isn't comprehensible in his world!!)


A quick hello to Daddy... notice the nice wall and the stone patio in progress. Come on.. doesn't it just make you want to buy our house? (please???)
(Mom and Dad, a nice Michigan vacation house, perhaps?)

Over to give Mama a wet,wet hug, work clothes disregarded, of course.
That's okay... hugs are worth more than fancy clothes.

Four and a half years difference? No problem, they are still buddies.

Given the opportunity, this guy would never come inside! Except maybe for a bubble bath (BUBBLE BUBBLE BUBBLE, he says at night-time).
